Why Two Kay

Why Two Kay

So with 2009 almost out of the way, we are also nearing the end of a decade to begin a new. A lot has happened throughout the 2000s...

Technology advanced crazy fast, and the internet became more than anyone had anticipated. Also computers and video games became way more mainstream and almost a part of everyday life.

We had 3 so called "pandemics" (SARS, bird flu, swine flu), and researchers made all sorts of discoveries and breakthroughs.

New York City lost 2 towers, and billions of dollars went into waging war on people who had nothing to do with it. And now we can't take a bottle of water on a plane.

We saw the death of the VHS, Audio Cassette Tape, Floppy Disk, MiniDisk and the short lived HD-DVD. While DVD, CD, MP3 remained strong, Vinyl LP came back into trend, BluRay was introduced and flash memory started being useful. Oh, and the iPod.

Microsoft joined the console making business as Sega went into only games, while Nintendo slowly went from kicking ass to old people flailing around plastic sticks in the air.

And I really could go on, since it was ten years!

Anyway, a toast to the 2000s, and the years to come.

Hello and welcome!

Hey everyone! It's almost been forever since I last had any activity here, but when I recently changed my hosting I decided it's about time dusted off this place and got it up and running again.

I also had a good thought about what the purpose of keeping this weblog is, and I think what I'll do is make small posts frequently with anything from designs, drawings or photos for personal work, side projects or abandoned projects, as well as small blog entries or just information, images or links of anything I find interesting. (that should keep me busy ;))

Anyway, once again, welcome to the all new toastr blog!

Ps: Oh and sorry, there will be no commenting as I've had a bad run of spammers in the past.
